How We Chose the Top 10 Hotels in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach has an unusually large selection of beachfront hotels, condominium resorts and family-focused properties, so we looked beyond location alone. We considered the overall resort experience, accommodation style, convenience and how well each property serves its most likely traveler.

Our ranking of the top 10 hotels in Myrtle Beach includes options for couples, families, longer stays and travelers who want either central entertainment or a quieter beach vacation. This makes the list more useful than simply ranking properties according to luxury level.

Nightly prices can vary considerably by season, weekends and special events, so temporary rates do not determine the ranking. Hotel names, amenities, policies and services can also change, so important details should always be confirmed with the hotel or booking provider before reserving.

  1. We stayed at the Paradise Resort for a weekend. Upon arrival we requested the highest floor available. They gave us a Penthouse room that had the most spectacular view. The unit was very nice, clean and extremely functional. The beds were actually comfortable. One of our favorite amenities was the fabulous breakfast bar. They had anything and everything you could want for breakfast and it was delicious. The parking was another plus. We will definitely stay here again
